Loring March Mammogram Parties - 16th & 25th
02/26/2010The Loring Hospital Radiology Department invites women to their second annual March Mammogram Parties. The Parties will be held Tuesday, March 16th and Thursday, March 25th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Loring Hospital.
The idea behind the Loring Mammogram Parties are to encourage women to have their yearly mammogram while enjoying some pampering and time with friends. During the evening attendees will be treated to massages and can enjoy wine & cheese, while getting their mammogram.
“There are a lot of fears and stress associated with mammograms, along with women putting off this important yearly procedure. We hope to alleviate these fears with a stress-free and fun evening,” commented April Peterson, Loring Radiology manager.
Loring Hospital offers the latest in digital mammograms. Research has found that digital mammograms are significantly better at detecting breast cancers than film mammography. Digital mammograms record images directly into a computer for better viewing.
